This week, KELTON Business Manager Joseph O’Neil is going to swap his Scottish ‘Hellos’ for ‘Namaste’ as he commences his second visit to India. The trip acts as a valuable opportunity to gain better insight into the market and identify how KELTON’s applications can best meet the requirements of local customers. As you are reading these lines, Joe will have just arrived in Gujarat, from where he will travel to Delhi later in the week, checking in with both existing and potential customers on the way.
Joe visited India for the first time on behalf of KELTON in August 2017, after having received support from Scottish Development International (SDI) to enable an assessment of the local opportunities for the business. Following this initial evaluation, KELTON sees potential in the rapidly evolving market, particularly with regard to flow measurement consultancy services as well as the company’s industry leading software applications, for which there already are a number of users in India.
While KELTON has already been active in India, having previously undertaken a major consultancy assignment for a national gas company in 2006, the company seeks to extend its engagement in the market further. Over the next few days, Joseph will visit a number of potential customers in Gujarat and Delhi, and he is confident that KELTON’s presence will continue to grow over the forthcoming months and years.
