LNG’s volume is about 600 times smaller than that of gaseous natural gas meaning that it can be transported in large quantities around the world much more easily.

Our challenge: to provide an assessment of LNG, Condensate and LPG tank measurement, along with LNG product quality sampling and analysis systems.
- Fully connected, Kelton’s measurement consultant based in Aberdeen was able to guide their in-country colleague through the correct assessment requirements and log all relevant details – informing of actions along the way.
- Kelton were able to fully assess the LNG sampling system and its adherence to the GIIGNL guidance document and international standards.
- Made recommendations to improve the performance of the entire system - including for the condensate and LPG tank measurement.
- This, in turn, will assist in reducing the risk of potentially expensive commercial exposure associated with LNG sampling issues.
